Holaaaa from Ngong Ping Village. |
Mei 2015!!! For this journey we're planning on brosist double date. Yuhuuuuu just like what I've always dream on. Not a romantic double date for sure but it's "hebring heboh" date. Here it is...First place to go is Ngong Ping Village. Is the place for famous Big Budha statue, the name of the statue is Tian Tan. To reach the big buddha we have to climb over 268 steps. The big buddha surround with six smaller bronze statues named Bodhisattvas which represent six perfections of Generosity, Morality, Patience, Zeal (spirit), Meditation and Wisdom.

The weather is strong winds, which is cold and a bit of rainfall. But thankfully we are safely climb up the Tian Tan Budha. The view from the upstair was amazing, we can see the Hongkong city from far away, the Lantau peak and Po Lin monastery. Go around 360 circle of Tian Tan podium and we enjoy the beauty of Lantau island...Soo it's worth the freezing cold climb.

After
climbing down from Tian Tan Statue we are strolling the village and Po Lin
Monastery. The Po Lin Monastery in Lantau Island is a Buddhist temple
and complex, this is popular tourist attractions, two thumbs up for the
developer who still maintain the essences of traditional ambience and preserve
the temple for traditional ritual and ceremony. There are several
structures in this Buddhist complex, the first temples you will come to are
relatively new, the original temples are tucked in the back and there is always
ongoing work to maintain and add to the Monastery. The Characters on top of the
main temple spell out "Po Lin Monastery" meaning "Precious
Lotus". The lotus flower is a special symbol in Buddhism meaning
"Purity".

Which make this trip was memorable for us, from the up above we can se through everything from the cabin, plusss due to the windy rainfall weather make our cabin stuck for a 15 minutes. Ahahaha yaaaaph 15 minutes of holding on together and wishes we're not falling down. Let's take a rest and follow our next places in Hong Kong guys.
